ABSTRACT
Reports that General Motors last week told consumers that it is recalling 890,000 Chevrolets and Pontiacs, many with defective shoulder belts that could fail to lock during a crash. The models that were recalled; 1989 and 1990 Cavaliers and Sunbirds are unaffected.
