Reports that with postage costs rising, more corporations are electronically plunking stock dividends directly into shareholders' bank accounts. About a third of the 400,000 companies that pay dividends, now send quarterly dividends electronically. Mistakes are rare; The Consumer Federation of America suggests checking your bank account for deposits.
