The article presents a study by M.B. Cetinkaya and colleagues which examines the outcomes for women ages 43 and up after in vitro fertilization and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) cycles. It says that the authors conducted controlled ovarian stimulation through microdose gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist. The authors concluded that the assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles will not benefit women 45 years and above using their own oocytes based from the outcomes.
