ABSTRACT
The article deals with the carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is felt as pain, tingling, a burning feeling or even a loss of sensation that happens throughout all or part of the hand. These syndromes may be worse at night and can wake the patient from sleep. Many physicians experience difficulties regarding the diagnosis of the syndrome. Usually a physician will conduct a test that would identify how well the nerves in the hand of a patient are working to determine the development of carpal tunnel syndrome.
