ABSTRACT
The article looks at aspects of the two Basic Laws in Israel regarded as its bill of rights but which are seen to serve only to highlight Jewish majority's superiority over the Palestinian citizens of Israel. It focuses on the discriminatory laws on citizenship, citing some of the laws which remain silent on the Palestinian minority's right to equality and right to fulfill family life with their own people. Discussed is the High Court ruling in the case of MK Zahava Gal-On v. Attorney General.
