ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Special Victims' Counsel Program of the U.S. Army's Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps. to help sexual assault victims. It says that an added benefit to reduce barriers that keep victims from reporting assault will be provided by the counsel. It adds that the four overlapping objectives of the Special Victims' Counsel Program include to increase the level of legal assistance to sexual assault victims, to create and maintain victim resiliency, and to empower victims.
