ABSTRACT
The article presents the authors' comments on the study "Changes in small dense low-density lipoprotein levels following acute coronary syndrome," by M.R. Emadzadeh and colleagues. The study compares the baseline small dense low-density lipoprotein (sdLDL) levels in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and in healthy controls. It is stated that the sdLDL can be used as a biological marker for the treatment of ACS patients.
