ABSTRACT
The article presents a study conducted by researchers Stanley Fields and Ikjin Kim on the high-throughput analysis of in vivo protein stability which appeared in the July 29, 2013 issue of the journal "Molecular & Cellular Proteomics." It mentions that a library of clones consisting of the yeast leucine biosynthesis gene LEU2 fused to variants of Deg1 was created. The study concluded that sequencing of massive mutant libraries are helpful in cataloging determinants of protein stability.
