ABSTRACT
The article celebrates the power of flex, or flexible work schedules, and advocates its use for all employees. The periodical is rolling out an initiative, National Flex Day, to be held every third Tuesday of National Work and Family Month, which is October 15 for the year 2013. Not exclusively a working-mother issue, flexible work is allegedly important to every single employee, whether to aid them accommodate child care duties, elder care needs or a marathon training schedule.
