ABSTRACT
The article reports that City Link employees will resort to direct action from September 24 to 30, 2013 over pay, working conditions and a change to contracts. It is the result of a ballot among members of National Union of Rail Maritime & Transport Workers (RMT). Scott Maynard, HR director at City Link, said that the ballot is fundamentally flawed and that any strike action would be illegal. However, Bob Crow, general secretary of RMT, said that workforce is up for this fight.
