ABSTRACT
The article discusses a strategy for removing tear gas residue. Tear gas remediation is being considered a structural maintenance challenge. The mechanism of tear gas is described. When removing tear gas, the first step is to determine the type and the amount of tear gas used prior to entering the affected area. Chlorobenzylidenemalonitrile (CN) or chloroacetophenone (CS) gas is the commonly used.
