ABSTRACT
The article discusses findings of a report from the Partnership for Public Service and McKinsey & Co. on talent management strategies of federal agencies in the U.S. as of October 2013. Topics covered include creating a cohesive program in talent management, making senior agency leaders accountable in developing high-potential employees, and improving the Senior Executive Service (SES). It is also critical on preparedness of these agencies for turnover as most of SES will be retiring.
