ABSTRACT
In this article, the author offers information related to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) and associated reforms in the health insurance regulations in the U.S. He informs that the ACA represents a significant regulatory overhaul of the country's healthcare system including Medicare and Medicaid. He reports that due to the act many reforms in health insurance took place including lowered health care costs, more coverage and enhanced the quality of care.
