ABSTRACT
Recounts the origin of the NERF which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Edward Parker, then company president of Parker Brothers (Beverly, Mass.), and his orange squishy ball (polyurethane foam), which began NERF pingpong, NERF fencing,and NERF football.
