Mediterranean Diet: Health vs. Hype

The article discusses the health benefits of Mediterranean diet, which is said to have preventive actions against such diseases as cancers, diabetes and Parkinson's disease. The diet is recommended by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans as among the possible dietary patterns that can help prevent disease and promote health.
