ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights on the significance of archives. The author states that people were able to discover the past as they locate unknown texts, detect the relationships within, and produce new knowledge from those texts. He relates that the "New York Times" could barely contain the archival history. He mentions that the digitalization of archive, specifically the print archive, could transform the terms in which people imagine the past.
