ABSTRACT
The article outlines the specialty of spalted maple wood which can really challenge the sense of woodworking design. It mentions that the wood is just an ordinary maple that is partly rotten with different colony of stain, mold and decay fungi attack, and establish boundaries to preserve their turf. It notes that the wood can be ordered online but it is hard to predict exactly what you are going to get and it is safer to see boards in person and give extra careful in getting those.
