ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the altering definition of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the challenges faced in using existing communication infrastructure. It mentions that the challenge brought by the IoT is that devices that will generate the Internet traffic are not going to be intelligent computers, but things such as cars. It states that existing long-range communication technology, particularly wireless access standards are designed high-volume data and voice communication.
