ABSTRACT
The article reports on the findings of a study conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center which investigated the impact of allergic phenotype and allergic sensitization in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patient. The results reveal that allergic disease is associated with greater severity of COPD.
