ABSTRACT
The article presents information on WordPerfect Executive, a software product designed to help busy marketing executives enhance their productivity while traveling and otherwise away from the home office environment. WordPerfect Corp has introduced the software product. The new product combines spreadsheet analysis, word processing and information management into an integrated program that fits on a single 3-1/2 inch diskette. Specifically designed for the laptop environment, this software product runs on all of the major laptop and portable computers available on today's market. WordPerfect Executive uses the mechanism of a "shell" to combine and integrate a variety of functions useful to the traveling executive. The mechanism is similar to the ones found in most programs which integrate multiple functions, such as Symphony and Framework. This integration is important to the executive, since it provides a common set of characteristics across all of the programs contained within the shell.
