ABSTRACT
This study aimed to conduct an epidemiological investigation of cases of canine leishmaniasis in São Luís - MA. Data were collected in Sector Screening Center Animal Control of São Luís, from January 2009 to June 2011. It was found that in 2009 was the largest number of reported cases from the years analyzed, and the district of Tirirical the most affected in all of them.
