ABSTRACT
The article suggests solutions to daily life problems. Peter Muldoon, a furniture conservator for the Smithsonian Institution, says for dealing with smoke, pet, food, and mothball odors in a wardrobe, one can place a small bowl of baking soda in each drawer; close the drawers and let sit for a week. Thomas Vaccaro, the dean of baking and pastry at the Culinary Institute of America, suggests that it is easier to take out a cold cake from a sticky pan.
