ABSTRACT
The article explores the impact of the convergence of natural gas, wind, and sun as energy source. According to the article, if electricity generation will come from alternative sources like natural gas, wind energy, and solar energy, carbon emission would be much lower. Since 2005, the U.S. is said to have been utilizing alternative energy thus helping decarbonize the country's energy system. In 2012, total carbon emissions were lower by about six percent as compared to the previous year.
