ABSTRACT
The author discusses ways to help ensure becoming a successful chiropractic assistant (CA). He adapts principles outlined in Steven Covey's book "The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People" to chiropractic practice. Habits to help one move to independence or self-mastery such as being proactive, creating a mission statement, and establishing priorities are explored. Interdependence or collaborative strategies like empathic listening are also recommended.
