ABSTRACT
WHAT is it with Canadian investors and their love of British assets? In the space of just a few weeks, the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement Scheme has joined forces with the Crown Estate on a £320 million redevelopment in the heart of the West End, bought Vue Cinemas for £935 million and been part of a £5.3 billion takeover bid for Severn Trent.
