Faithful soar but club issues a hindrance

OFFALY put up a fine showing against Kilkenny last Sunday but they could be even better if the club calendar was tweaked. Coolderry and Kilcormac-Killoughey have been involved in the last two All-Ireland club finals but that's impacting on Offaly's National League campaign. They don't have a strong playing pool to choose from and with key players unavailable due to club commitments, it has affected the county team's League form. If you're Ollie Baker, you want your best players, particularly in such a tight League.
