ABSTRACT
The article presents a chemical synthesis of ethyl 3-thioxo-1-phenyl-2,3,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-isoquinoline-4-carboxylate which was obtained by mixing 1-benzoyl-2-(morpholin-4-yl)cyclohexene with ethyl 3-amino-3-thioxopropanoate in anhydrous ethanol in the presence of sodium ethylate at 20°C. Far-Infrared (FIR)-spectrometer Spectrum One spectrometer was used in recording infrared (IR) spectra of compounds that resulted from the synthesis.
