ABSTRACT
The author offers weather proofing tips for radio controlled (RC) cars. He warns that exposed solder tabs, receiver plugs and power wires are liable to attract dirt and moisture, which will eventually cause problems. To address this, he makes simple Lexan guards for receivers and uses duct and electric tape. He also suggests checking bearings by way of removing, cleaning and re-oiling on a regular basis.
