ABSTRACT
The article discusses the UnitedHealthcare®hi HealthInnovations (UHC/HI) hearing device benefit program which is an online model for self-diagnosis and self-treatment of hearing loss for patients. The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) academy however feels that this model can only be used for optimization of treatment and not as a treatment option.
