ABSTRACT
The article offers a look at the fresh produce available at the markets in Great Britain in summer of 2013. The asparagus season is reported to start a little later than usual. Norfolk and Wye Valley are the two main areas of production of asparagus as represented at Covent Garden. In other markets, British produce available include purple sprouting broccoli, main-crop rhubarb and Jersey Royals.
