ABSTRACT
The article reports the U.S. foreclosure sale rate reached a 3-year high in April 2013, according to a monthly report from Lender Processing Services (LPS). The report indicates the rate for completed foreclosures was three percent of the total foreclosure inventory in states with judicial foreclosure review and 6.9 percent in states with nonjudicial review. It also notes statistics for the length of time it takes to foreclose and for foreclosure inventories.
