ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views on the return of Hoosier sports heritage for automobile racing and basketball in Indiana. He refers to the comeback of the Indiana Pacers basketball team for owner Herb Simon and the return of the glory days for Indy 500. However, the author thinks that the national relevance will never be the same due to the declining media coverage.
