Eficiência de polimerização de duas gerações de aparelhos LED em Resina Composta

The aim this study was to evaluation the polymerization efficiency of the two photo-curing Apparels LED generations by means of flexural strength test (FS) in two immersion means. They had been selected seven composed resins (Z-250, P-60, Supreme, Charisma, Durafill VS, Tetric-ceram e Opallis) and two Photo-curing apparels Ultraled I (LED I) and Ultraled II (LED II). The specimens had been confectioned using a stainless steel bipartite mold. The composed resin was inserted in only portion. The half of samples of each device was stored in distilled water and to another half in ethanol 100% before the mechanical assay. For Flexural Strength Test it was used schemes it of mechanical assays universal EMIC DL 2000, with load cell 2.000Kgf with speed of 0,5 mm/min. The data had been submitted to the test of variance Anova and Tukey 5%. The composed resins Z-250, P60 e Supreme they had presented better resulted of FS and Charisma e Durafill VS the worse results, independent of the Photo-curing device and immersion means. The FS of the composed resins curing with LED II, immersed in distilled water for 24 hours, better when it was compared with the one of LED I. The FS of the composed resins curing with LED II, immersed in ethanol 100% for 24 hours, it was similar when compared with LED I. The photo-curing device it influenced in the FS of the composed resin only when the immersion mean it was the distilled water.
