ABSTRACT
IRELAND captain Peter O'Mahony paid tribute to five new faces after Ian Madigan's boot saw them seal a 15-12 win over the US Eagles in Houston. Mike Tolkin's team ran out of steam as a raw Irish side hung on to a three-point lead in the second half. Fly-half Madigan kicked all of the visitors' points in front of a crowd of 20,181, a record for a US home game, while Saracens' Chris Wyles scored all of the Eagles' points.
