ABSTRACT
The article reports on the rising number of proposed tobacco restrictions in the U.S. Several ordinances related to the tobacco industry have been proposed in various areas of the country, including banning tobacco displays in New York and banning the sale of electronic cigarettes in Rock County, Minnesota. National Association of Tobacco Outlets legislative consultant Tim McKinney states that most convenience store operators are unaware of the potential impact of such regulations.
