ABSTRACT
The article discusses the results of the first annual Transportation & Logistics Study by enterprise management software developer TMW Systems. The 2013 North America for-Hire Truckload Carrier Benchmarking Survey highlights the innovative efforts of truckload carriers to remain profitable. Maximizing asset utilization was cited as the most important business challenge or opportunity facing for-hire truckload carriers in North America.
