The article reports that late season freeze in March 2013 and a hail in May 2013 have damaged peach crop in Fredericksburg, Texas. It cites Dianne Eckhardt of Eckhardt Orchards and Gary Marburger as among those affected by the freeze and hail in Gillespie county in Texas. The article also mentions that a brighter side for Marburger is the bumper year for berries, with the very long strawberry season and maturing of the blackberries.
