ABSTRACT
The article considers the May 14, 2013 testing by the U.S. Navy the X-47B drone aircraft produced by aerospace industries firm Northrop Grumman on takeoffs and landings from the aircraft carrier USS George Bush. The possible use of the aircraft's control system for use in carrier takeoffs and landings by jet fighter planes manned by air pilots is discussed.
