ABSTRACT
The article presents world news briefs. Kenyan members of Parliament voted to raise their own salaries, defying the newly-elected President Uhuru Kenyatta's call for wage cuts. Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemari-am Desalegn has accused the International Criminal Court (ICC) of targeting Africans in its prosecution of human rights violators.
