The article reports on the worldwide failure of people processes in organizations to keep pace with a changing business landscape as of 2013. Uneven global economic growth, emergence of regulations, evolving technology, new competition sources and geographic and skills mismatch reportedly hinder human capital (HC) function. The article states that HC leaders should assess the organization's workforce and workplace, and determine where it should be in the future to meet its business needs.
