ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study led by Rafael Verduzco and Enrique Gomez, published online in "Nano Letters" regarding the use of block copolymer solar cells to develop more advanced solar energy devices. The copolymer solar cells are said to outperform other cells with polymer compounds. Characteristics of the block copolymer P3HT-b-PFTBT are described, including its separation into bands and natural tendency to form bands perpendicular to electrodes.
