ABSTRACT
The article compares the education system of Alberta and Finland. It mentions that core curriculum exists in Finland which is not set in detailed format by the state whereas in Alberta there are several learning outcomes for each grade. It further mentions that curriculum design in Finland involves students in learning whereas Alberta characterizes the role of students as principles in framing curriculum.
