ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview to the membership, campaigns, and establishment of the Australian Nursing Federation (ANF). It states that ANF is the only organisation in the country that represents the professional and industrial interests of midwives, nurses, and assistants in nursing. The campaign of ANF which is to raise political action and political awareness, among its members and the community in the pursuit of better public policy on health, is stated.
