ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the relief campaign launched by U.S. President Barack Obama to assist the tornado victims in Oklahoma and hurricane Sandy victims in New Jersey in 2013. The author sees Obama's visits to the victims and efforts to assist them as genuine. Obama joined Republican Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey in a bipartisan tour of the affected areas. Obama announced that the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency will supervise the relief efforts.
