The article reports that in the light of expensive standard employee benefits package that include major medical coverage with optional dental and vision coverage, institutions and companies are turning to discount plans. Discount plans offer for a few dollars per person, benefit packages that costs 30% to 70% cheaper at in-network providers. In various stand-alone or bundled combinations, one can avail benefits which include dental, vision, and alternative care services.
