ABSTRACT
The article reports on the proposed rule by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that requires domestic tobacco product manufacturers and importers to submit pertinent data for the calculation of user fees. It notes the intent of the proposal which is to assure that FDA continues to have information for calculation as the Department of Agriculture terminates its data collection. Comments are to be submitted by August 14, 2013.
