ABSTRACT
The article reports on the diminishing market values of B737-900 in 2013. It was in November 1997 when the aircraft was launched and its first delivery was undertaken in May 2001. On November 10, 1997, when Alaska Airlines ordered for 10 aircraft and 10 options, the Boeing Co. Board of Directors authorized the program to continue. The launch of the first B737-900 was celebrated at Renton on July 23, 2000. The article asserts that the B737-900 failed to prove its success.
