ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) to transform its Future Connect training and development conference in the U.S. President/chief executive officer (CEO) Leslie G. Sarasin stated that the conference will continue in some form even when the FMI Show returns as an annual event in 2014. She explained that the show will incorporate some educational components of Future Connect. She added that FMI is focusing its trends information the future of retailing.
