ABSTRACT
The article informs that people of African countries have discovered that use of bamboo charcoal as bioenergy can help them to save their forests. It is noted that 70% of the population of Africa use wood as their main source of energy for cooking, which not only cause deforestation, but also accounts for at least a fifth of all carbon emissions globally.
