ABSTRACT
The article reports that car manufacturer Audi has developed its own branded augmented reality (AR) platform and hopes to eventually turn all its vehicles and brand assets into AR triggers. Developed in partnership with mobile agency Somo, the AR iOS application platform aims to provide consumers access to additional content and information whenever they encounter the brand. Audi national digital manager Hugh Fletcher gives further details on the technology and Audi's marketing strategy.
